About Somethings
Somethings is on a mission to end the youth mental health crisis by reducing the suicide rate for teens back to 2008 levels of 6.8 per 100,000 for the 42 Million teens in the U.S.
To combat this, we are creating the first scaled network of Certified Peer Specialists and building the most engaging mental health experience in the world for teenagers. We’ve found deep resonance with Medicaid Managed Care Organizations and State Health Agencies and we’re scaling to quickly towards serving hundreds of thousands of teens.
About this role
Our mentors are the lifeblood of Somethings. They’re the people teenagers trust, return to, and grow with. We want Somethings to be the most meaningful professional experience our mentors have in their lives.
We’re looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher to design and build the entire end-to-end Mentor experience — from onboarding and training to tools, culture, and community.
This is a high-agency role at the intersection of product, design, operations, and culture-building and requires someone with a passion for user research, prototyping, and driving tangible solutions for users.

You will directly shape the mentor experience that supports millions of struggling teens in feeling seen, supported, and able to thrive.
4+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or Service Design.
