L’Oréal Paris
Role Summary
The Director of Creator Partnerships & Programs serves as the architect of L’Oréal Paris’ priority creator relationships — shaping how the brand identifies, develops, and sustains long-term partnerships with VIP, League, and high-value talent.
In close partnership with the VP, Brand Lead, and Director of Creator Management, this leader defines the relationship philosophy and engagement model for priority talent, ensuring that partnerships are not transactional — but strategic, developmental, and brand-building over time.
This role balances three critical pillars:
Relationship stewardship with talent and agents
Long-term creator ecosystem strategy
Operational discipline and program governance
Directors operate as senior strategic leaders, owning the highest-impact creator partnerships while developing the internal team and external talent relationships that fuel durable brand equity.
Core Responsibilities
Talent Development & Agent Relationship Leadership
Serve as the senior relationship lead across VIP, League, and priority creators, cultivating trusted, long-term partnerships with talent and their representatives.
Build strong, consistent relationships with key agents and managers, establishing L’Oréal Paris as a preferred and professional partner.
Shape talent development pathways — identifying how creators can grow with the brand across campaigns, categories, and multi-year partnerships.
Ensure creator relationships are grounded in mutual value: brand equity for L’Oréal Paris and career elevation for talent.
Creator Ecosystem Strategy & Long-Term Partnerships
Own the long-term creator ecosystem strategy for L’Oréal Paris, with emphasis on VIP, League, and ambassador partnerships.
Define principles for talent selection, progression, retention, and expansion.
Lead the L’Oréal Paris Leagues Program end-to-end — annual vision, partner development strategy, performance measurement, and EOY reporting.
Partner with client leadership to shape VIP strategy, ensuring alignment between celebrity engagement, brand positioning, and creator portfolio balance.
Campaign & Program Stewardship
Review and validate creator mixes, budgets, and content approaches to ensure alignment with brand strategy and long-term relationship goals.
Ensure VIP and League engagements feel differentiated, elevated, and intentional.
Provide senior oversight for high-visibility or complex programs requiring strategic judgment or sensitivity with talent.
Client & Business Partnership
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the client on talent investment decisions, balancing relationship equity with performance accountability.
Translate creator insights and relationship learnings into forward-looking brand recommendations.
Ensure creator programs are governed, measurable, and defensible — without sacrificing relational integrity.
Team Leadership & Development
Develop senior creator managers into relationship owners, not just negotiators.
Create clarity in swim lanes between strategy, management, and VIP oversight.
Serve as escalation lead for sensitive talent, agent, SAG, legal, or financial matters.
Foster a culture of proactive communication, professionalism, and long-term thinking.
Operational Governance
Oversee resourcing and workflow prioritization across VIP and League programs.
Implement brand-specific standards for vetting, negotiations, usage/exclusivity, reconciliation, audits, and SAG compliance.
Ensure relationship-driven strategy operates within disciplined financial and governance guardrails.
